Metro Type CDMX

Originally developed by Lance Wyman for the Mexico City Metro in 1968, the system evolved alongside the city, expanding across new stations and, eventually, its wider public transportation network. I was invited by Wyman to help refine and complete the typographic system, addressing missing characters and developing the Metro and Metro Bold families for contemporary use. My role focused on kerning the complete character set and building the final typographic font files, helping preserve the original language while making it functional for a growing system.
